Non-legal test. This profile is collected for personal record and identification purposes. While the profile itself is not court-admissible, it can serve as a reference baseline if legal testing is initiated in the future. Contact us to discuss your situation.

What It Is

A Permanent Record of Who You Are.

A DNA Profile Test creates a comprehensive record of an individual's unique genetic markers — a biological fingerprint that is completely unique to that person. Once created, the profile can be stored and referenced for future identification, comparison, or testing purposes.

Unlike paternity or relationship testing, a DNA Profile Test is not designed to compare two individuals. It documents one person's genetic identity — preserving it accurately for future use. Whether that use is personal identification, a foundation for future relationship testing, or simply the peace of knowing the record exists — the profile is yours to keep.

Collection is performed by a trained specialist at your location. No clinic visit required. No waiting room. Completely private.

This is a non-legal test. The DNA Profile Test is collected for personal record and identification purposes. While this profile cannot itself be used in court proceedings, a stored profile can serve as a reference baseline if legal testing is initiated in the future. Contact us if you have questions about which test is right for your situation.

Questions & Answers

DNA Profile Test — FAQ.

What exactly is a DNA profile?
A DNA profile is a documented record of an individual's unique genetic markers — specific locations in the DNA that are completely unique to that person. Think of it as a biological fingerprint that can be used for identification and comparison purposes.
Can this profile be used for paternity testing later?
Yes. A stored DNA profile can serve as a reference baseline for future relationship or paternity testing. If a legal paternity test is needed in the future, a new legal collection would be conducted and compared against your stored profile — streamlining the process significantly. Contact us to discuss how your profile can support future testing needs.
How long is the profile stored?
Profile storage terms are determined by our laboratory partner. Contact us for specific information on storage duration and options for your profile.
Is this test painful or invasive?
Not at all. Collection requires only a simple buccal cheek swab — a soft cotton swab rubbed gently on the inside of the cheek. The process takes less than a minute and is completely painless.
Can I have a profile created for my child?
Yes. A DNA profile can be created for a minor with the consent and authorization of a legal guardian. The guardian must be present at the collection appointment.
Is this test legally admissible?
Not as collected. The DNA Profile Test is not collected under chain-of-custody protocols and cannot itself be used in court. However, a stored profile can serve as a reference baseline if a new legal collection is initiated in the future. If legal admissibility may be needed, contact us before scheduling so we can advise on the right approach from the start.
Who has access to my profile?
Only you — and any parties you explicitly authorize in writing. Your profile is stored securely and is never shared with any third party without your written authorization.
Can a profile be created after someone has passed away?
In some circumstances, biological material from a deceased individual can be used to create a DNA profile. This is handled through our postmortem coordination process. Contact us to discuss your specific situation.
