This Refund and Cancellation Policy governs all services provided by Anytime Mobile DNA. By scheduling a service with us, you agree to the terms outlined below. Please read this policy carefully before booking.
Summary: All payments are non-refundable once testing has begun. Cancellations and rescheduling requests must be made in advance to avoid fees. Additional fees apply in specific circumstances as outlined below.
1. General Policy
All services provided by Anytime Mobile DNA are subject to this policy. Fees paid for services are applied toward the cost of coordination, mobile collection, laboratory processing, and results delivery. Because these services involve scheduling, travel, laboratory preparation, and third-party coordination, fees are non-refundable once the process has been initiated.
2. No Refund Once Testing Begins
All payments are non-refundable once testing has begun. Testing is considered to have begun at the earliest of the following:
- The moment a collection appointment is completed and samples are collected
- The moment samples are submitted to the laboratory for processing
- For postmortem cases, the moment a collection kit is shipped or delivered to the facility
This policy applies regardless of the test outcome, including inconclusive results caused by biological factors outside our control.
3. Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel a scheduled appointment, the following terms apply:
- Cancellation with more than 24 hours notice — No cancellation fee. A credit may be applied toward a rescheduled appointment at our discretion.
- Cancellation within 24 hours of the appointment — A $125 late cancellation fee applies. This fee reflects costs already incurred including specialist scheduling and travel coordination.
- Cancellation after testing has begun — No refund. See Section 2.

4. Rescheduling Policy
We understand that scheduling conflicts arise. The following rescheduling terms apply:
- Rescheduling with more than 24 hours notice — No rescheduling fee. We will accommodate one rescheduling request at no charge per case.
- Rescheduling within 24 hours of the appointment — A $75 rescheduling fee applies. This fee reflects costs associated with last-minute scheduling changes.
Rescheduling requests must be made by phone at (833) 326-9846 to ensure timely processing. Email requests within 24 hours of an appointment may not be processed in time.
5. Missed Appointments
If you or any required party fails to appear for a scheduled appointment without prior notice, a $125 missed appointment fee applies. This fee is in addition to any service fees already paid and is non-refundable.
A missed appointment does not cancel your case. Contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. Additional rescheduling fees may apply per Section 4.
6. Recollection & Additional Sample Fees
In some cases, a recollection or additional sample may be required. This can occur due to biological factors outside our control, including but not limited to:
- Low fetal DNA concentration in prenatal paternity (NIPT) testing — more common in very early pregnancies
- Insufficient or degraded specimen quality in postmortem testing
- Laboratory requirements for additional samples to produce a conclusive result

We will always communicate with you before any additional charges are processed. You will be informed of the situation, the reason, and the applicable fee before any further action is taken.
7. Concierge Enhancement Fees
Concierge enhancement fees — including weekend availability, after-hours scheduling, same-day rush scheduling, expedited laboratory processing, secure documentation handling, and notarized reports — are non-refundable once the service has been rendered or initiated.

8. Postmortem Cases
Postmortem DNA testing cases involve unique logistical and coordination costs that are incurred from the moment the case is initiated. The following terms apply specifically to postmortem cases:
- All fees paid toward postmortem coordination are non-refundable once the case has been initiated — including upon kit delivery or shipment to the facility.
- If testing cannot proceed due to specimen unavailability or insufficient viability, a partial refund may be considered at our discretion after deducting costs already incurred.
- Coroner specimen release fees paid directly to the coroner's office are the responsibility of the client and are entirely separate from our service fees. We have no control over or responsibility for those fees.
- If additional specimens are required due to insufficient sample quality, additional fees apply and will be communicated before processing.
9. Client Acknowledgment
By proceeding with scheduling and payment, you acknowledge and agree that:
- All payments are non-refundable once testing has begun.
- DNA testing may require recollection and additional fees may apply due to biological factors outside our control.
- Cancellation and rescheduling fees apply as described in this policy.
- Coroner release fees, where applicable, are separate from and in addition to our service fees.
- You have read and understood this Refund and Cancellation Policy in full.
