Every appointment follows a clear, documented process from your first contact to your final results. You will know exactly what to expect at every step — before anything is scheduled.
We do not ask you to figure anything out on your own. Contact us first. We guide you through every step before any commitment is made.
Contact us by phone, email, or the form on our contact page. We confirm the right test for your situation, explain the process in full, and answer every question — before you commit to anything. If you are unsure which test you need, we will help you determine the correct option before moving forward.
We coordinate a collection appointment at your preferred location — your law office, medical practice, private residence, funeral facility, or another approved site. We work around your schedule, including weekend and after-hours availability upon request. All scheduling details are confirmed before the appointment is finalized.
Prior to any sample collection, all required consent documentation and identity verification is completed. Government-issued identification is required for all parties. For legal testing, this documentation becomes part of the official chain-of-custody record. All adult participants must provide consent before collection begins.
A trained collection specialist arrives at your location at the scheduled time. Samples are collected using laboratory-approved methods — typically buccal cheek swabs for standard testing, or a maternal blood draw for prenatal paternity testing. All samples are sealed, labeled, and secured for transport immediately following collection.
Samples are transported securely to our AABB- and CAP-accredited laboratory partner for analysis. Standard results are returned within 3–5 business days of sample receipt. Prenatal paternity (NIPT) results take approximately 7–10 business days. Postmortem testing takes approximately 10–15 business days. Expedited processing is available upon request.
Results are delivered securely by email or mail within the stated turnaround window. Legal test reports include full chain-of-custody documentation, probability index, and laboratory accreditation confirmation. Results are never released by phone.
The most important decision before scheduling is whether your results will be used for legal purposes. This determines the entire collection process.
Chain of custody is not a formality. It is the documented record that makes DNA results legally defensible.
Every individual being tested presents valid government-issued identification. This is recorded and becomes part of the official chain-of-custody documentation.
All adult participants sign consent forms prior to collection. For minors, a legal guardian must authorize and consent on their behalf.
A trained, neutral collection specialist witnesses and conducts the sample collection. No self-collection is permitted for legal testing.
Every sample is immediately sealed, labeled with identifying information, and secured. Tampering is documented and detectable.
Samples are transported directly to our accredited laboratory partner with documentation of transfer at every point in the chain.
The final report includes the full chain-of-custody record, laboratory accreditation information, and all documentation required for court filing.
Every sample we collect is processed through laboratory partners holding both AABB and CAP accreditation. Here is what that means.
AABB accreditation is the recognized standard for relationship DNA testing in the United States. It is required for results to be accepted in federal immigration proceedings and is the standard referenced in most family court DNA requirements. Not all laboratories hold this accreditation.
CAP accreditation confirms that a laboratory meets the highest standards for analytical accuracy, procedural integrity, and quality control. It is one of the most rigorous laboratory accreditation programs in the United States and is recognized by courts and clinical institutions nationwide.
Timelines begin from the date all required samples are received by the laboratory.
Legal paternity, peace-of-mind, maternity, siblingship, grandparentage, and DNA profile testing.
Non-invasive prenatal paternity testing requiring maternal blood draw and paternal cheek swab.
Facility-coordinated testing dependent on sample type and availability.
Expedited Processing Available. If your case requires faster results, expedited laboratory processing is available for an additional $300–$500. This must be requested at the time of scheduling. Contact us to confirm availability for your specific test type.
Legal DNA test results include a detailed report with probability of relationship, chain-of-custody documentation, and laboratory accreditation confirmation.
